Every morning, accounted for.
From the first boarding tap to the gate check-in, one record of where every child is.
The rules are clear.
The visibility is not.
Most schools already meet the letter of the requirements. CBSE affiliation bye-laws require CCTV across entry and exit points, corridors, stairwells, classrooms, labs and shared spaces, with at least 15 days of footage retained. CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws School transport falls under AIS-140, so buses carry a tracking device and a panic button. AIS-140, under the Central Motor Vehicles Rules
What schools rarely have is the join between those systems. The footage exists but nobody watches it until something has already happened. The bus reports its position to a compliance portal that the school office cannot usefully query at 07:38 on a Tuesday.
So the questions a parent actually asks — did my child board, which bus, has it reached — get answered by a phone call to the transport in-charge, who answers from memory.
Guardian is the join. It uses the cameras and trackers you are already required to run, and turns them into one record of the morning.
Four things, each of
which works alone.
Start with the one that solves today's problem. The others join it later without a second installation.
Bus and route safety
Know which child boarded which bus, where that bus is, and when it deviates from its route.
Campus AI cameras
Cameras that flag a gate left open or a crowd forming, and stay quiet otherwise.
Network layer security
Keep cameras and lab machines on their own segments, so one compromised device reaches nothing else.
AI lab setup
A working teaching lab: machines, curriculum-aligned projects and staff who can run it without us.
Start with what is already on your campus.
The assessment tells you which of your existing cameras and trackers Guardian can use, and which need replacing. You get that in writing whether or not you go ahead.
Six weeks from
survey to handover.
Installation happens around your timetable. Nothing goes live until it has run in parallel with what you do today.
- 01Week 1
Site survey
We walk the campus and the bus routes, and list what is already installed and what condition it is in.
- 02Week 2
Network audit
We map the network as it actually is, and write down what is exposed before we add anything to it.
- 03Weeks 3–4
Hardware install
Cameras, readers and network equipment go in during agreed windows, around your timetable.
- 04Week 5
Integration
Vehicles, cameras and the student list are connected, then run in parallel with your existing process.
- 05Week 6
Staff training
The people who will use it daily learn what it flags, what it misses and who responds to what.
- 06Week 6
Handover
You get the drawings, the credentials and a named engineer. The system is yours to run.
Built privacy-first,
for Indian schools.
A safety system that collects more than it needs is a liability you are taking on. We designed Guardian to collect less.
- Footage stays on your campus
- Camera analytics run on a server in your building. Video is not uploaded to us or to any cloud service for processing.
- No facial recognition on students
- We do not enrol, match or identify children by face. If you ask us to, we will decline and tell you why.
- No behavioural monitoring
- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 prohibits tracking and behavioural monitoring of anyone under 18, and holds that prohibition even where a parent consents. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, section 9
- The school is the data fiduciary
- You decide retention, access and disclosure. We process on your instruction, and our contract says so in those words.
Six weeks, scheduled around your term.
We survey first and quote after, so the number you see is for your campus rather than an average one.
Three tiers. The difference
is capability, not support.
Every tier includes installation, staff training, maintenance and a named engineer. We quote after the assessment — four buses and forty are not the same job.
